A special charm of Pingyao

For thousand years, the city walls remained intact. Pingyao International Photography Festival founded in 2001. 
The first time when I heard about Pingyao County was in my undergraduate years. My teacher said they guided some students who went to Pingyao and practiced to take pictures.

It is the most complete intact county-level-cities. It has been included in The List Of The World Cultural Heritage.The population is 490 thousand.The history of Pingyao ancient county is 2800 years. 
Get up earlier in the morning, then you will see Pingyao shrouded in a haze. You will feel like you are in the ancient China with rooster crows and smoke which is curling up from the kitchen chimneys.

 In the evening, every store put their products on both sides of street. Visitors streamed in and out of each store.

When you stand in Pingyao County, you will realize there are many foreign visitors walks beside you. I think visitors who are in there, may be have an "ancient" dream like I have.
 

Incredible Switzerland 2.

     

     This was my second day in Lucerne. The Lion Monument, is a very famous sculpture in Switzerland, designed by Bertel Thorvaldsen and hewn in 1820–21 by Lukas Ahorn. It commemorates the Swiss Guards who were massacred in 1792 during the French Revolution, when revolutionaries stormed the Tuileries Palace in Paris, France. Hero, country, dreams, all of them are make me move.

 Chapel Bridge (Kapellbrücke) , which is a sign of Lucerne, was founded in 1333, it had Europe's oldest wooden bridge Covered. When I was standing on the bridge, people who are on the two sides became the scenery in my eyes. 

Incredible Switzerland 1.

This photo taken in Switzerland this July. I named this post "incredible Swiss", because it is the most beautiful place I've ever been before. The beautiful  is not limited scenery, but gives people l a kind of spiritual beauty. After seeing the crowded in Venice and Louvre, Switzerland is simply a paradise on earth. Although I only stayed one day in Lucerne, but it has left the deepest impression for me.

The generation that's remaking China

   Recently, I’ve been watching some TV series. Then, I realize their themes are overlapped. Both of them are talking about young husband and wife’s life. And I also found that there are more and more TV series like this in the last few years. These young couple who are struggling for themselves in big city in China. They mention me a presentation that I watched before. “The generation that's remaking China”, which is from Yang Lan, a journalist and entrepreneur offers insight into the next generation of young Chinese citizens -- urban, connected (via microblogs) and alert to injustice.
The content of her presentation coincide with these TV series’ elements.
   In Yang Lan’s presentation, “What are today’s young generation up to? How are they different? And what are the differences they are going to make?” Those things are her concern. I’m very interested in this topic. Why? Because I am exactly the generation that she said. Basically, I can give some key words to describe my generation in my view. They are: lonely, selfishness, struggle and positive. If you look at her presentation, you will find it shows two different kinds of young people through social media. Put simply, some are catching luxury and vanity. Some are prefer strive under social pressure environment and to be content.
The young Chinese generation, who are same like me, how do you think these three questions in Yang Lan’s presentation?

Magnificent QingHai (1)

 
     Qinghai Province, which is an important province on the Tibetan Plateau in China. Qinghai hence the name because it has the largest inland saltwater lake - Qinghai Lake. Qinghai has a long history, located in the cradle of the Chinese nation - the Yellow River, the source of the Yangtze River. in the Early dating 20,000 to 30,000 years ago, the late Paleolithic, Qinghai ancestors lived in Qaidam Basin, Central Asia, tall mountains - the Kunlun Mountains.

Qinghai Lake, another named "Kukuzhuoer". It means "cyan sea"in Mongolian. It is located in the northeastern part of the Qinghai Lake basin, both China's largest inland lake, is also China's largest saltwater lake.

Chaka Salt Lake, also known as or Dabuxunzhuoerr, "Chaka" is a Tibetan, means salt pond."Dabuxun zhuoerr" is in Mongolian, but also the means Salt Lake.

Throughout the ages, Chaka Salt Lake as well know of "Daqing salt" and prestigious. Salt storage capacity of 448 million tons now, sodium chloride is up to 95%. Someone said the it can provides people to eat for 85 years.
